3. New usage of e-Cert:

b. Upgraded as e-Cert member at China Travel Net to enjoy discounts in ferry tickets and hotel rooms

You can now enjoy secure online travel services with e-Cert at the website of China Travel Net (CTN) Hong Kong Limited. CTN is the first travel website to adopt e-Cert in Hong Kong. It provides extensive travel information, together with online purchase and booking services on accommodations, as well as air, ferry and train tickets, etc. With this service, you can now enjoy a hassle free holiday in Mainland China and other parts of the world. Both business and leisure travelers can obtain the needed travel information and services at CTN in a secure way.

Using e-Cert to login can better protect your interests in online transactions because it is a two-factor authentication tool. Successful login requires both your e-Cert and password. Even when your password is hacked, no unauthorized party can login on behalf of you unless he or she has got hold of your e-Cert at the same time.

To register as a CTN e-Cert member is easy: After you register as a general member, login and choose to upgrade as an e-Cert member. The whole process involves only a few mouse clicks.

After successful login, choose "e-Cert Services" button to proceed.

Input your HKID and choose "Upgrade to e-Cert member" button to finish!
